Özden Tüfekçi
Co-Founder

  • A graduate of Yıldız Technical University in Computer Engineering, Özden Tüfekçi began his career by founding his own software company, where he developed Turkey's first technical analysis platform, as well as core systems for Istanbul Sea Buses and the Istanbul Directorate of National Education.

  • He later spent 18 years at Garanti Teknoloji, managing teams that delivered critical projects in investment, treasury, and portfolio management.

  • Starting in 2020, Özden dedicated over three years to building and training the proprietary trading infrastructure that would eventually become BluePython. In 2023, this vision culminated in the founding of the AI-powered algorithmic trading company.

  • He is also the author of "Technical Analysis in Stock Trading with Computers."

  • A long-time automotive enthusiast, Özden even programmed his own vehicle's engine control unit. He also enjoys reading, solving sudoku puzzles, playing guitar, and following motorsports.

Osman Özcan
Co-Founder

  • Osman Özcan graduated from KabataÅŸ Erkek High School in 1981 and earned his degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BoÄŸaziçi University, with a minor in Computer Programming. A former national chess player, he represented Turkey in international tournaments during his university years.

  • He spent two decades at Garanti Teknoloji, building infrastructures for equity trading, portfolio management, and service management.

  • Together with Özden Tüfekçi, Osman began developing what would become BluePython's proprietary algorithmic trading system as early as 2020. After years of R&D and live testing, they officially founded the company in 2023.

  • A passionate bridge player for over 40 years, he has earned more than 20 trophies, including a national second-place title. He is also a proud father of one.

Barış Yılmaz
Co-Founder

  • Barış Yılmaz holds a degree in Business Administration from Istanbul University and a Master's in Brand Communication from Bilgi University. He led digital marketing teams at GroupM for numerous global brands, before continuing his career as E-commerce Communications Manager at Mavi and later as Marketing Director at iyzico, one of Turkey's top fintech firms.

  • In 2021, he founded the digital transformation consultancy BlackBox & Co., and in 2023, he joined BluePython as a co-founder to lead its go-to-market and growth strategy.

  • Barış is married with one child and combines his love of nature and design through bonsai cultivation and deep space astrophotography.
